Chapter 2595: If You Explain, You Die!

Chapter 2595: If You Explain, You Die!

Against the Myriad Immortals Palace, taking out your anger on Malignant Dragon City?

What sort of heaven-defying behavior is this?

Carson Flores felt a chill run down his spine. The Myriad Immortals Palace was the undisputed ruler of the entire Ten Thousand Immortals Domain, with formidable strength that no one could shake. Yet this old woman dared to oppose the Palace; what kind of power does she possess?

Malignant Dragon City belongs to the Ten-Thousand Immortals Hall - Twelve Immortal Gates, and its strength is considered top-tier across the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain. But the old woman openly vented her anger on Malignant Dragon City?

She beat them up at will, and now she wants to go head-to-head with them. How bold can she be?

What made Carson even more desperate was that this old woman indeed had the power to beat whoever she wanted. Why drag me into this?

Isn’t this putting me in danger?

It might even implicate the Dragon Mountain Sect...

Just as Carson was about to open his mouth to persuade the old woman, numerous golden light points suddenly appeared in the sky. These golden lights, like a meteor shower, were rushing rapidly toward them.

Each golden light represented a powerful individual, and there were at least over twenty such lights. Each person exuded a terrifying aura, and the combined momentum of so many people made the entire world seem to tremble invisibly.

Carson was suppressed by countless terrifying auras, his entire body involuntarily trembling.

This wasn’t fear but a natural reaction of the body to such terrifying momentum.

Carson took a deep breath, forcing himself to stand straight.

The joints of his Sword Bone creaked, as if bearing a weight of ten thousand pounds, on the verge of breaking. Yet, Carson’s legs didn’t buckle by an inch.

Niall Sinclair’s eyes had turned crystal white. With strength two realms above Carson’s, she too withstood this oppressive force.

Jaryth Arnold wasn’t so lucky. He let out a scream, and with a thud, he was directly crushed to the ground, creating a crater as the ground smashed beneath him. He groaned miserably and passed out immediately.

The old woman glanced at Carson and Niall, who were resisting unyieldingly, her eyes slightly brightening as if she had found amusing toys.

The cluster of golden lights flew across the sky and seemed about to pass by, but the leading middle-aged man suddenly paused, his gaze sharp as electricity, scanning below.

"Break!"

The middle-aged man let out a low cry, pointing downward. A golden light, like a Skyfire, fell straight from the sky and struck the void.

"Boom!"

The golden light seemed to hit something, causing gold ripples to appear in the space, like a still lake into which a large stone had suddenly fallen.

The invisible shroud shattered instantly, revealing Carson and the others standing on the mountain peak to the many powerful figures in the sky.

The middle-aged man wore a cold smile: "You hid well, but you underestimated me!"

The old woman remained calm: "Is that so?"

As he scrutinized the old woman, the middle-aged man frowned and said, "Who are you? What grudges do you have with my Malignant Dragon City to commit such a bloodthirsty act?"

The old woman smiled slightly: "No grudges."

The middle-aged man coldly responded: "No grudges, yet you strike against my Malignant Dragon City. Have you gone mad, or do you think we’re easy to bully and allow ourselves to be manipulated?"

The old woman nodded: "Yes, something like that. I found you displeasing to the eye, and since I was passing by, I thought I’d lend a hand!"

The middle-aged man was furious but still refrained from acting hastily.

He wanted to figure out what was really going on!

Though Malignant Dragon City feared no one, suffering such a loss necessitated understanding the truth.

Although the bloodshed at Malignant Dragon City was caused by this old woman, was there perhaps someone behind her pulling the strings?

The middle-aged man’s gaze swept over the old woman, landing on Carson and the two others, with a slightly surprised expression.

"The Human Race? Are you from The Outlands?"

Carson was about to answer when the old woman interjected directly: "He is Carson Flores, Floating Cloud’s True Disciple from the Dragon Mountain Sect. I like him, so I asked him to help me with some small tasks."

Dragon Mountain Sect?

The middle-aged man coldly said: "My Malignant Dragon City bears no grudges against the Dragon Mountain Sect. Yet you assist this old hag against us, unafraid of drawing trouble to the Dragon Mountain Sect?"

Carson was about to explain, but the old woman’s voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

"If you explain, you will die."

Carson was startled, forcing the words he was about to say back down.

This old woman was determined to escalate the misunderstanding, ultimately nailing me down so thoroughly that I couldn’t possibly explain it away.

Carson steeled himself; if it meant offending them, so be it. I’m just a Disciple, can I truly represent the entire Dragon Mountain Sect?

Carson spread his hands, shrugged, and pouted without saying a word.

The middle-aged man’s face changed several shades when he saw Carson not even bothering to speak to him.

The old woman being powerful and arrogant was one thing, but you, a Dragon Mountain Sect disciple, how dare you act so arrogantly?

Do you really think I have no temper?

The middle-aged man barked harshly: "All together, capture them alive! Don’t let a single one escape!"

The myriad strong figures in the sky responded thunderously, their aura soaring once again.

Carson’s face turned pale as he instinctively turned to look at the old woman.

The people are all here, and you’re still provoking them. Surely, you have some tricks up your sleeve, right?

Use them quickly!

If not, we’ll all be done for!
